Case Study · STANFEST 2024
Designing India's
Biggest Creator
Meetup
Overall event creative for STANFEST 2024, presented by Zupee. A 24-hour
festival in Lucknow where 35,000+ fans met 2,000+ creators, and every
surface from billboards to booth panels had to carry one high-energy identity.

A Little Context First
STAN is where India's youth lives online: 45M+ users, 2.5M+ creators, and the #2
lifestyle app on Google Play. STANFEST is the one day a year that fandom steps out of
the app and into the real world.
The 2024 edition took over Phoenix Palassio Courtyard in Lucknow on November 24th:
10+ competitive gaming zones, a mainstage lineup of India's biggest creators, from
Ashish Chanchlani and Fukra Insaan to Mortal and UK07 Rider, and 24 hours of non-
stop content, all wrapped in a single visual identity.
The brief wasn't to design an event. It was to
build
a physical world
for a digital-first brand.
The Problem
A creator meetup has a problem no other event has: the audience is the camera crew.
Every backdrop, booth, and banner would be filmed by 35,000 phones and 2,000
creators, then clipped, memed, and reposted for weeks.
The identity had to look loud on a billboard, stay sharp inside a vertical reel, and sit
correctly behind every sponsor mark, from Zupee and ITC Bingo to Hammer, Spinbot,
Rizzed, and Free Fire, without ever stopping feeling like STAN. In front of a Gen-Z
audience that spots lazy design instantly, nothing could look improvised.
Every panel had to survive being
filmed, clipped,
and reposted
, and still read as one brand.
My Role
I led the creative design for the entire event, owning event
branding, social media assets, stage visuals, on-ground
collateral, and in-app creatives from first concept to final
production file.
With multiple sponsors, a 30-day campaign, and a venue
full of national-scale creators, every detail mattered:
consistent typography, consistent color logic, and correct
placement of every partner mark across formats ranging
from OOH hoardings to in-app story sizes.
The Ask
A bold, high-energy identity that could
flex from a 100-foot billboard to a 1080-
pixel story: built fast, produced daily,
and installed across a full venue. The
creative direction, the whole call on how
STANFEST should look and feel, was
mine to make.
The Scale of It
One identity, across a venue, a feed, and an app.
Environmental & OOH
Billboards and transit OOH, entry experience, venue
wayfinding, photo-op walls, standees, and large-
format flex across the courtyard.
Stage & Screen
Mainstage backdrop, LED screen loops, the Free Fire
tournament arena, trophy and podium moments, and
live-show graphics.
Booths & Activations
Zupee creator-takeover branding, the ITC Bingo booth,
Rizzed merch drop, Hammer and Spinbot demo zones,
spin-the-wheel and game stalls.
Digital, Social & In-App
Announcement posters, rolling creator reveal cards,
countdowns, in-app creatives, breaking-news style
posts, and aftermovie packaging.
The Sprint
The event wasn't one deadline. It was thirty of them. STANFEST ran a 30-day inline
activation before doors opened: daily social drops, rolling creator reveals, and sponsor
announcements landing while venue production files were already shipping to print.
The system had to produce at feed speed for a month, then scale up to a physical
venue overnight, without a single off-brand frame making it out.
One identity, produced at
feed speed for 30 days
,
then blown up to venue scale overnight.
The Constraints
✦
The audience was the camera crew.
35,000 fans and 2,000 creators filming every surface. Anything inconsistent would be public within minutes.
✦
Many sponsors, one system.
Zupee, ITC Bingo, Hammer, Spinbot, Rizzed, Free Fire and more all had to sit inside the identity without diluting
it.
✦
From 100 feet to 1080 pixels.
The same identity had to hold on billboards, stage LEDs, booth panels, tshirts, and in-app story sizes.
✦
A live event has no reprint window.
Once doors opened on November 24th, every file was final. There was no version two.

The Approach
Weeks 1 to 2
The system
Built the core identity: color logic, type hierarchy, and the sticker-badge visual
language, designed from day one to flex across sponsors, formats, and surfaces
without breaking.
Days 1 to 30
The content engine
Ran the 30-day inline activation: daily social drops, creator reveal cards, countdowns,
and sponsor announcements, feeding a campaign that produced 600 content pieces
and activated 200+ influencers.
Event Week
Venue production
Finalized print and large-format files for the full venue, covering stage, arena, booths,
and OOH, locking sponsor logo placement across every material, from the mainstage
backdrop to the smallest standee.
November 24
Event day
The identity went live across Phoenix Palassio Courtyard for 24 hours of non-stop
content, in front of 35,000+ fans, 2,000+ creators, and every sponsor on the floor.
After
The echo
Packaged the aftermovie and post-event content that carried the identity long after
teardown, into 1.2 billion impressions and 380M earned reach.
The Work
Environmental & OOH
Billboards, the entry experience, and venue graphics set the energy before a single
creator walked on stage.

Key Takeaways
When the audience is the camera crew, consistency isn't polish. It's the
strategy.
A system that can post daily for a month is the same system that can wrap a
venue overnight.
Sponsors don't dilute an identity when the system decides where they live
before they arrive.
